Leather
Leavenir has been using genuine leather for product making. Our leather are acquired from the most exclusive sources with rich heritage, finest tanneries steeped in centuries old tradition from all around the world, to ensure the leather quality. Some leather hide appears in the atelier for the whole year, but some only appear by season.
Buttero (Vegetable-Tanned Leather)
We love the unique texture and the aging charm of vegetable-tanned leather. We use premium leather from Consorzio Vera elle, the Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Consortium, which located in Tuscany (Italy). Each tannery produces vegetable-tanned leather with distinct characteristics.
These consortium tanneries maintain high standards in environmental sustainability, production processes, and quality, aiming to produce natural, high-quality vegetable-tanned leather. The leather certified by this consortium is favored by outstanding artisans and craftsmanship brands worldwide.
Chèvre Sully (Combination Tanning)
A luxurious Goat leather produced by the renowned French tannery Alran S.A.S, which has more than 100 years’ experience in the year of tanning. This leather is soft, lightweight, full grain, unique embossed texture (called Chagrin).
Impala (Combination Tanning)
A calf leather created by the legendary Carl Freudenberg. This embossed leather shows leopard skin effects. It is soft-medium handle with a semi bright finish.
